Three Roundabout Intersections
The Project Team analyzed traffic and safety data to confirm where roundabouts will most effectively improve operations and safety. In Section Y10, three roundabouts are included at the intersection of Bell Memorial Church Road (Route 2023) and Route 130, the intersection of the new Route 981 and Bell Memorial Church Road (Route 2023), and the intersection of Route 981 and the relocated Airport Road.

- Shifts intersection northeast to minimize impacts to buildings
New Route 981 & Bell Memorial Church Road (Route 2023)
- New three-way roundabout configuration
- Connects proposed Route 981 alignment to realigned Bell Memorial Church Road (Route 2023)
- Bell Memorial Church Road (Route 2023) realignment and extension of local Green Street
Route 981 & Relocated Airport Road
- New four-way roundabout configuration
- Connects existing Route 981, proposed Route 981, and realigned Airport Road
- Airport Road realignment to the south of current location
